MAX = to the greatest extent possible
imprint = to stay in your mind or memory
Our motto is: we maximize impact for maximum imprint. Whether we are building usable websites, creating content, taking photographs, or handcrafting lovely gift soaps and jewelry, we aim to help people make lasting memories.
MAXimprint is the "dynamic duo" of husband and wife team: Jonathan and Melissa Maxim. We met for the first time beside an InterVarsity Welcome Table at Art School in 1993 and started serving together in 1994. We were then married in Pennsylvania on the 4th of July in 1998, and together we have 1 girl and 4 boys (ages 9 to 20).

Jon has been a Content, Publishing, and Website Consultant since Y2K. Jon holds degrees from Rochester Institute of Technology and Lancaster Bible College, and he studied the History of Christian Worship via American Lutheran Theological Seminary.
Before moving his family to the Corning, New York, area in 2004 to help build and develop a church plant, he worked as a Graphic Designer for DavCo Advertising and then as a Multimedia Designer for Sight & Sound Theatres in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. While in Lancaster he was an ALPHA Group Leader at his church. After moving north, Jon served several businesses.
Since 2007, he has been a Ministry Advisor for Church Plant Media where he has served many local churches and gospel organizations like The Gospel Coalition, Sovereign Grace Churches, ChurchPlant.com, and The American Association of Lutheran Churches.
In 2013, after reading and studying Luther's Small Catechism, Jon and Melissa started listening to Pirate Christian Radio (PCR). All of this refocused them on the forgiveness of sins and helped them understand the difference between Law & Gospel. Then for 9 months (from 2014–2015), Jon served Tullian Tchividjian (grandson of the late Evangelist Billy Graham) and Coral Ridge Presbyterian Church as the Editorial Director for LIBERATE—connecting God's inexhaustible grace to an exhausted world, through daily blog content and resources that declared over and over again that Jesus lived, died, and rose again to "set the captives free" (Luke 4:18).

Melissa loves people! Having grown up as a PK (Pastor's Kid), she has lived servant-ministry up close and personal since birth. Her passion is to share the one-way love of Jesus with everyone. In 1996, Melissa graduated with a BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts) in Graphic Design from Rochester Institute of Technology. The year following her graduation from RIT, she served Open Door Mission in inner-city Rochester as an Administrative Assistant.
Melissa's education and experience serving people make her a vital asset and resource in all of our branding, design, and content discussions. For every website project that we build, Melissa plays a key role in selecting and approving (and at times capturing) all of the photography and graphic design that we use. She is also actively involved with sermon transcription, content transfer/organization, and often provides feedback on new website content.
Although her full-time work as our "Domestic Engineer" keeps her busy managing our home and 5 children, she keeps her hand in the creative mix by regularly publishing family memories on Facebook and creating handcrafted gift soaps and jewelry. Her lovely gifts are available for purchase online via LuvYah Gifts and locally at the Information Center of Corning.
FUN FACT: LuvYah was the first brand we created together 20+ years ago.
